Wii Fit U Basic Run Island Lap All Routes Summer Night

So, since I've finally released all the videos on YouTube, I figured this was a great time to make a post archiving all of the Island Lap (personal favorite) routes set during a Summer Night.  That's right, one of the lesser known features of Wii Fit U is that not only do the seasons change, but so does the time-of-day, and night time in the Summer makes for a very serene backdrop.  So, enjoy the nostalgia and have fun on the runs!

You can check out these and other Wii Fit U videos here: Wii Fit U Playlist

Since you are still here, do you remember my very first, full playthrough of a game?  If not, check out Wii Fit Plus: Wii Fit Plus Playlist

And, my personal favorite route is still Island Lap Route #2!

Wii Fit Plus Aerobics Playthrough Part 2-2: Basic Run, Long Routes

Part 2-2 of our Wii Fit Plus Aerobics Playthrough progresses to the Long Routes of the Basic Run.  This is th same concept as the Short Route Basic Run, just longer.  The extra length takes care of the shortcomings in the Short Routes in that going slow behind your guide Mii to run a certain route can be compensated for with the greater lenght of the route, thus making it easier to 4-Star the runs.  Let's take a look:

Wii Fit Plus Aerobics Playthrough Part 2-2: Free Run, Long Routes

Basic Run, Long Routes

1. Guide Mii, Dirt Circle Route, ends past the Brick Bridge near the falls
2. Tan Dog, Red Collar, ends on the windmill hill
3. Black Cat, Blue Collar, behind the falls, to the overlook below the castle
4. Black Dog, Red Collar, thru town to the lighthouse
5. Tan Cat, Blue Collar, up to the rooftop
6. Gray Dog, Red Collar, to the beach

This is again one of my favorites on the game, although I am more partial to the diversity on the Island Laps.  However, the Long Routes have some cool endings as well...particularly Route 5's cat that takes you to a rooftop finish and Route 6's dog that lets you hit the waves on the beach!  Route 3 is also unique in that you get to go behind the falls and up the seldom used path to the overlook (it dead ends that direction as well).
