Skylanders Trap Team Wave 4 Unboxings

Well, Wave 4 came with a bang!  I got a surprise delivery on St. Patrick's Day (made it one of the best in my opinion) and the insanity began: Thunderbolt, Shortcut, Rocky Roll, High Five, Bat Spin, Echo, and the Easter Skylanders (Easter Bunny Earth Trap, Power Punch Pet Vac, and of course Eggsellent Weeruptor).  I got their unboxings cranked out and began work on the Introductions and Upgrades...

Then, Mario Party 10 hit with a new line of Super Mario Amiibo AND I was able to land Blackout and Spotlight.  Needless to say, things have been VERY busy.  As such, I am going to just compile all the recent Skylander Unboxing vids here for your convenience.  You can also find stand alone posts on the Skylander Club Forum, or by taking the link at the top of each description box.

I hope to eventually update them with my usual format (FAQ and Card Stats etc).  For now, I'm quite busy and content running thru Introductions and Upgrades for all thsese great new Skylanders!

Hey Everyone, I've been meaning to showcase this little guy for awhile...Back when I went to pick up Green Metallic Shroomboom, I stumbled upon this Hot Dog Christmas ornament!

Skylanders Showcase: Hot Dog Christmas Ornament

The detail is actually very nice and the colors are even more vibrant than the S1 Hot Dog from Giants.  It is light weight and can both hang, or sit on flat surfaces.

If you are a fan of Hot Dog, or need some Skylanders flare for your Christmas, I suggest you try to find it!

I believe I paid $7.99 for it.  Toys'R'Us.com now lists it for $5.99 on sale (originally $9.99), but it is out of stock.  I would not pay more than $10 for it.  It is very well executed, but you are better off putting things under your tree, or making donations than paying some scalper 3x retail to obtain this.

That said, it is pretty cool and will definitely heat up your Christmas decor!

Unboxing Sheep Wreck Island

Sheep Wreck Island is the final expansion to SWAP Force, joining the previously released Tower of Time as the only Adventure Packs for this installment.  In addition to offering up a new chapter of gameplay, unlocking some Portal Master accolades, and debuting some cool and unique magic pieces, the other main draw of this AP is SWAP Force Newlander Wind-Up.

The actual Sheep Wreck Island piece not only opens up the additional chapter of gameplay, but unlocks several arenas: Vortex Banquet, Cyclops Makeover, Sheep Mage Rage, and Chunky Chompies.

The Groove Machine will follow your Skylander playing a groovy tune that makes enemies boogie down and stop attacking you.

The Platinum Sheep cloaks your Skylander in a wooly disguise that prevents enemies from attacking you...since they think you are a sheep.  The biggest perk is that while disguised you can recover health to reappear and defeat the "baaaad" guys (sorry, had to do it).

And of course, we have Wind-Up, the last of the SWAP Force Tech Skylanders, at least for me.
